Dr. Jouett grew up in Hondo, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University, Class of 2000. After graduation, he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, School of Dentistry. During his time in dental school at San Antonio, Dr. Jouett performed research in the areas of implant dentistry involving the bone-implant interface, implant and bone healing modalities using bone morphogenic proteins, anti-caries activity of carbamide peroxide, and the use of bone morphogenic proteins in healing of pulpal exposures.
Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Jouett practiced in Flagstaff, Arizona for two years before moving back to his home state. He has practiced in the Brazos Valley since 2006.

Are Full-Mouth Dental Implants The Right Procedure For You?
Here is how it works:
CONSULTATION:
At a diagnostic appointment with Dr. Reece or Dr. Jouett, they will take X-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans (also known as “CAT scans”), impressions, and photographs, as needed. The doctors then use their unique skills to combine this information into a plan that will produce a painstakingly accurate template of the optimum location, depth, and position needed for your new implants. The template will then be used in your next visit to provide a pinpoint-accurate guide for your implant installation.
The goal is to stabilize your jaw, stop bone loss, and optimize the neuromuscular alignment of your bite, while achieving the most pleasing cosmetic result.
SURGERY:
You will receive carefully positioned implants in the upper and/or lower jaw designed to provide stable support for a fixed hybrid denture. These implants are made from titanium and integrate with your jawbone, ensuring strength and long-lasting durability.
What Is Medical Necessity Coverage, And When Can It Cover The Cost Of Dental Implants?
Medical necessity coverage for dental implants means your insurance may help cover the cost if the implants are essential for your overall health and not just for cosmetic reasons. For example, if missing teeth affect your ability to eat, speak, or maintain jawbone health, you may qualify. We’ll work with your insurance and provide any necessary documentation to help you through the process.
